W.E.B. DU BOIS graduated from Fisk University in 1888. In 1890 he received his second bachelor's degree when he graduated cum laude from Harvard College. In 1910 he was one of the co-finders of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF COLORED PEOPLE (NAACP)
